Requirement
The Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL) issues Final Agency Actions in accordance with the procedural requirements contained in Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1614 (29 C.F.R. § 1614.101 et seq.). CRCL performs the dispositive role in the federal sector EEO administrative process by adjudicating and issuing Final Agency Actions, to include FADs, on EEO complaints filed by DHS employees, former employees, or applicants for employment. CRCL can achieve excellence in this role only through timely delivery of quality decisional documents. CRCL must issue decisions within regulatory timelines without sacrificing clarity, legal sufficiency, or procedural correctness.
