USCIS has a requirement for Information Assurance Security Services (IASS). As USCIS integrates artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) and other emerging technologies into our operations, it is imperative to elevate our cyber vigilance. This means ensuring systems are not only resilient to adversarial attacks but also uphold ethical standards that reflect organizational values and societal expectations. The Information Security Division (ISD) seeks a next generation of ISSOs to lead the charge. The IASS resources will continue to perform the day-to-day implementation and validation of IT Security requirements, including ensuring the protection of our systems, data, and environment from malicious users, and to support continuous monitoring activities. These specialized ISSOs are critical to maintaining the security of our systems, assets, and data to avoid or minimize the impact of events.
