Requirement

FEMA Medical Division is responsible for establishing medical support for deploying FEMA personnel. This includes the capability to deploy paramedics with the initial mobilization to provide both emergent and routine medical care. Paramedics require a multitude of supplies and equipment that can be used to treat illnesses and injuries, both routinely, and in an emergency. The Medical Division may also be tasked with providing contracted medical support with medical supplies in instances where medical supplies have not arrived. The FEMA Medical Division requires many supplies to ensure the health and safety of the FEMA workforce. The items in this requirement offer life-saving equipment needed throughout the FEMA sites/disasters and fixed sites. • 700 Automated External Defibrillators (AED) LIFEPAK CR2 Cellular Defibrillator • 700 QUIK-STEP pacing/ECG/defibrillation electrodes, 4 year. Includes electrode cover, 1 set of adult/ pediatric electrodes, LPCR2 • 100 AED Lithium Battery, LPCR2 • 14 LIFELINK CENTRAL CAMPUS SOLUTION • 700 LIFEPAK CR2 4G Data Plan • 50 LIFEPAK CR2 Trainers • 10 Heartsine 450P Trainers • Trade-in of 700 Stryker Heartsine Samaritan 450P AEDs (credit towards purchase of LIFEPAK CR2s)
