Requirement

The U.S. Coast Guard anticipates a requirement for secure, insured, climate-controlled indoor storage, preservation, inspection, and annual re-preservation of two (2) Government-owned Fairbanks Morse 16V28/33D STC diesel engines. Services shall be performed in accordance with Fairbanks Morse OEM requirements for long-term indoor layup and shall include preservation, Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) protection, periodic inspection, and repackaging/re-preservation, as required. The requirement is intended to maintain the engines in a ready-for-use condition and preserve applicable OEM warranty coverage during storage.

This is a planning forecast, not a solicitation. Dates, values, and set-asides are agency estimates and can change before the official RFP is posted on SAM.gov.
