Requirement

The Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Program will provide capability to counter threats from UAS by detecting, identifying, monitoring, and tracking UAS; warning the UAS operator; disrupting control of the UAS; seizing or exercising control of the UAS; seizing or confiscating the UAS; and using reasonable force to disable, damage, or destroy the UAS. The C-UAS program is intended as a materiel solution which will provide capabilities to detect (find), track (fix), and mitigate (finish) UAS threats and negate nefarious actions such as: conducting intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) against targets (e.g., DHS facilities, assets, and operations, critical infrastructure, mass gatherings); transporting illicit materials across U.S. borders (e.g., drugs, weapons, cash); conducting physical attacks (e.g., kinetic, weapons of mass destruction) against targets in the U.S.; and conducting attacks on U.S. cyber infrastructure. The C-UAS Program has a requirement for expanding Radio Frequency (RF) Data as a Service (DaaS) to five additional Sectors – Rio Grande Valley East, Laredo, El Paso, Yuma and Blaine. Acquisition Strategy: Sole source contract to a small business.
