Special Purpose Craft - Ice Rescue Transport Second Generation (SPC-IRT II)

Requirement

The purchase of eight (8) 25-foot composite-hull airboats that will operated in the Coast Guard District Great Lakes Area of Responsibility (AOR) to perform all assigned missions. Typical assigned missions include: Search and Rescue (SAR),Living Marine Resources (LMR), and Other Law Enforcement (OLE). These boats will be assigned to long-haul ice rescue units. That operate during daytime and nighttime conditions in a wide spectrum of maritime climates and environmental situations. These maritime climates and situations include but are not limited to: Sub-Freezing Temperatures, Inland Environments, and Coastal Environments.
