Uniform Laundry Services with Pickup, Delivery and Alteration Support

Requirement

The agency police force anticipates needing commercial laundry services to ensure law enforcement personnel are provided professionally cleaned sanitized and serviceable uniforms in support of daily operations. Contractor shall provide routine pickup and delivery services as well as limited alteration and repair services to maintain uniforms in a professional and mission ready condition. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials (to include laundry bags w/ tags, and service tickets), transportation, and management necessary to perform: 1. Professional Laundering, cleaning, pressing , and packaging of Uniforms. 2. Inspection of garments for stains, damage or excessive wear & tear. 3. Minor Alterations, Hemming of Trousers, replacing buttons or snaps. 4. Return of uniforms within established turnaround times while maintaining accountability of garments. Anticipated period of performance for this contract is a 5-year ordering period for services listed.
