Several Propivix pages show an error message with a Retry button when they cannot load what they need. This article explains what that panel means and what to do about it.
What the panel means
The panel means the page asked for your data and did not get it. The request failed, for example because the connection dropped, the server was briefly unavailable, or your session needed refreshing.
It does not mean you have no data. Propivix shows this panel instead of an empty list on purpose, so a failed load never looks like an RFP with no requirements or a library with no assets. Your data is still there; the page just could not read it this time.
Where you might see it
| Page | What it says |
|---|---|
| RFPs list | "Failed to load RFPs. Please try refreshing the page.", or a more specific message from the server |
| Proposal editor, Requirements tab | "Requirements could not be loaded. Retry, or reload the page." |
| Assets library | "The asset library could not be loaded.", or a more specific message from the server |
| Templates | The reason the templates could not be loaded |
| Settings, Current Plan card and Billing tab | "Billing details could not be loaded. Please retry." |
| Dashboard and setup page, setup checklist | "Setup progress could not be loaded." |
The setup page you see after sign-up can also fail before the checklist appears, while it checks your account. It then shows "We could not load your saved setup. Please retry.", "Your organization exists, but its details could not be loaded. Please retry." or "Setup could not be loaded.", with a Retry loading setup button instead of Retry. It works the same way.
What to do
- Select Retry. The page asks for the data again, without reloading anything else.
- If the panel comes back, reload the page in your browser.
- If it still comes back, sign out and sign in again. An expired session is a common cause.
- If none of that works, contact support.
When you contact support, include:
- the page address from your browser's address bar
- the exact message the panel shows
- the time you saw it, with your time zone
- whether it happens every time or only sometimes
On the proposal editor's Requirements tab, Retry loads the requirements and your responses again. The rest of the editor keeps working while you retry, and your saved sections are not affected.
A Retry that means something else
On the Work Breakdown page, a card for a work breakdown whose generation failed also carries a Retry button. That one is different: the data loaded fine, and Retry runs the generation again. See If generation fails.
Some pages have no Retry button. On Business Profile, a failed load shows "Failed to load profile" instead of the page. Reload the page to try again.
