Your profile

Your profile page is about you rather than your organization. It shows your name, role, email address and plan, and it is where you change the name your teammates see.

Opening your profile

The profile page is not in the sidebar. Open it at /dashboard/profile.

You can also change your name without it: open Settings, select the Security tab, and use the Profile Information card. It shows your Email and Role read-only, lets you edit Full Name, and saves with Save Profile.

What the page shows

The top of the page shows:

  • Your name. If you have never set one, it reads "Unnamed User".
  • A badge with your organization's plan, such as "FREE TIER". It reads FREE when no plan is recorded for your organization.
  • Your role, written out in words, such as "Proposal Lead". Your role decides what you can change in Propivix; see Roles and Permissions.
  • The email address you sign in with.

Under Credentials & Clearances, NAICS Expertise shows your organization's primary NAICS code. It is the code entered in Settings, not one you set for yourself. When none is entered, the page says "No NAICS codes configured. Set your primary NAICS in Organization Settings." See Organization Settings.

Under Security Governance, 2FA Status reads "Enforced" when your account has multi-factor authentication set up, and "Not Enabled" when it does not. To set it up or manage it, see Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Changing your name

  1. Select Edit Profile at the top right. The button changes to Cancel Edit.
  2. In the Account Settings card, change Full Name.
  3. Select Save Changes.

When the save succeeds, the page leaves edit mode and shows your new name. Select Cancel Edit to leave without saving.

Your name is what teammates see on the Team page and in invitations you send. Professional Email is shown but cannot be changed here, because it is the address you sign in with.

Changing your password

Change your password through the password reset page. It works whether you are signed in or not.

  1. Open the password reset page.
  2. Enter your email address under Work Email Address and select Send Reset Link.
  3. The page confirms with Check Your Email. Open the email and follow the link.
  4. On the Set New Password page, enter your new password under New Password and again under Confirm New Password.
  5. Select Update Password. Propivix then takes you to the sign-in page.

The new password must be at least 8 characters long and meet at least three of the four requirements the page lists: at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one number and one special character. A strength meter shows how close you are.

If you are signed out, you reach the same page from the sign-in screen through Forgot password?.

If the reset email does not arrive, check your spam folder before you request another. If it still does not come, contact support, and never send your password or the reset link in the email.
