Understanding Requirements
RFP requirements are the specific criteria your proposal must address. Propivix extracts and categorizes these automatically.
Requirement Types
Mandatory Requirements
These MUST be addressed in your proposal. Missing mandatory requirements can disqualify your submission.
Identified by language like:
- "The contractor shall..."
- "Must provide..."
- "Required to..."
Optional Requirements
Nice-to-have items that can strengthen your proposal but aren't required.
Identified by language like:
- "May include..."
- "Preferred if..."
- "Optional..."
Technical Requirements
Specific technical capabilities, certifications, or qualifications needed.
Administrative Requirements
Business requirements like:
- Insurance coverage
- Bonding capacity
- Years in business
