The Proposal Editor
The proposal editor is where you refine AI-generated content and craft your winning proposal. Each section can be edited independently.
Editing Sections
Opening a Section
- Open your proposal
- Click on a section in the left sidebar
- The content appears in the main editor
Basic Editing
The editor supports rich text formatting:
- Bold and italic text
- Headings and subheadings
- Bullet and numbered lists
- Tables
- Links
Using the Toolbar
The formatting toolbar includes:
- Text formatting (bold, italic, underline)
- Paragraph styles (headings, lists)
- Insert options (tables, links)
- Undo/redo
AI-Assisted Editing
Refine with AI
Select text and use AI to:
- Expand - Add more detail
- Condense - Make more concise
- Improve - Enhance clarity and impact
- Rephrase - Say it differently
How to Use
- Highlight the text you want to improve
- Click the AI Assist button
- Choose an action
- Review and accept or reject the suggestion
Custom Instructions
For specific changes:
- Select text
- Click AI Assist > Custom
- Describe what you want
- Apply the suggestion
Version History
Track changes over time:
Viewing History
- Click Version History in the section toolbar
- Browse previous versions
- See who made changes and when
Restoring Versions
- Find the version you want
- Click Restore
- The section reverts to that version
AI vs. User Edits
Version history distinguishes between:
- AI Generated - Original AI content
- User Edited - Manual changes
Collaboration Features
Comments
Add comments for team discussion:
- Select text
- Click the comment icon
- Add your comment
- Mention team members with @
Assignments
Assign sections to team members:
- Click Assign on a section
- Select the team member
- They'll be notified
Real-time Editing
Multiple team members can edit simultaneously:
- See who's editing which sections
- Changes sync automatically
- Avoid editing conflicts

- Not Started - No content yet

Autosave
Your work is automatically saved:
- Saves every few seconds
- No manual save needed
- Works offline (syncs when reconnected)
